Each year, the Soroptimist International of Kansas City Service Objectives committee calls for proposals from throughout the greater Kansas City community, researches and recommends recipients which are then approved by the boards of Soroptimist International of Kansas City and the Soroptimist Kansas City Foundation.
Soroptimist Kansas City Foundation has awarded a total of over one million dollars in grants since its inception in 1954.
