SIKC Recognized for Club Giving to Support Soroptimist’s Global Impact
At Soroptimist International of Kansas City, we believe that what we do locally is part of something much bigger.
During the 2025 to 2026 club year, SIKC contributed $1,200 through Soroptimist International of the Americas’ Club Giving program. We are proud to be recognized as a club that not only invests in women and girls in our own community, but also helps support the work of Soroptimists across our federation.
Club Giving provides an opportunity for local clubs to extend their impact beyond their own communities. Contributions help SIA increase the number of women and girls who benefit from Soroptimist programs and support the larger work of empowering women and girls to reach their goals and live their dreams.
That matters to us.
As a local club, we see firsthand what can happen when women are given the resources, encouragement, and opportunity to move forward. Through our own programs and community partnerships, SIKC works to make a difference right here in Kansas City. But we are also part of a global organization working toward the same goal.
Our $1,200 Club Giving contribution becomes part of that collective effort.
According to SIA, more than $550,000 is contributed through Club Giving each year, with clubs across the federation coming together to help expand the reach of Soroptimist programs.
There is something powerful about that kind of collective impact. One club may not be able to change the world on its own, but hundreds of clubs working together can reach women and girls in communities around the world.
For SIKC, giving is about more than writing a check. It is about recognizing that the work we do locally is connected to a much larger movement.
We are proud to contribute to that movement.
We are proud to be Soroptimists.
And most importantly, we are proud to invest in futures.
Thank you to our members, donors, volunteers, and community partners who make it possible for SIKC to give locally while helping Soroptimist reach women and girls around the world.
