Soroptimist of Kansas City sponsors a variety of programs that support women and girls in our local community.
Our dream programs include the Live Your Dream award, in which every year we support three to six head-of-household women with a restriction-free grant to help them achieve career training for economic empowerment as well as the Dream It, Be It curriculum, which targets self-esteem and career-development goals for girls and young women in and around the Kansas City area.
Our signature program is the Service Objective grants, whereby we offer grants to Kansas City area 501(c)3 agencies to support their programs that enable women and girls to succeed. Since its inception. we have helped dozens of local charities, many of which you’ll recognize.
